Black Pearl Band - Black Pearl Band NM is an award winning variety band that performs Old School, R & B, Top 40, Oldies, Country, Rancheras, Cumbias, Polkas, and Waltz'.
Black Pearl Band NM formed in 2009 and won Battle of the Bands in 2009 at Knuckleheads. In 2014 Black Pearl Band won Bilingual Song of the Year by the New Mexico Hispanic Music Award Association and was nominated for Rising Group/Artist . Black Pearl Band NM has performed at the 2014 & 2015 New Mexico Hispanic Music Awards and have been chosen to perform at the 2014-15-16 Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair in San Antonio, Texas. Black Pearl Band NM has performed at the Downs, Ohkay, Twin Arrows (AZ), Buffalo Thunder, Dancing Eagle, and San Felipe Casinos. Black Pearl Band NM has also performed at the Moose Lodge #1517, Ned's Bar & Grill, 2014-15 City of Gallup Bike, Ride, and Cruise, 2013-14-15 Albuquerque Supernational Car Show, and has opened for Three Time Grammy Winner Ruben Ramos.
The Damn Band - With a huge dose of R&B, Rock, Blues, Reggae, Latin, & Pop as its driving force; The Damn Band is known as "The Party Band of the Southwest"!
The Damn Band has been rocking northern New Mexico for over a decade and has a musical background as diverse as the area they reside in. From their home base in Taos, the current lineup showcases the driving rhythms and guitar work by K Bolan and the soulful vocals of Mina Tank. With a huge dose of R&B and Rock as its driving force; the influences of Blues, Latin, Reggae and Pop find their way into the music of the band known as "The Party Band of the Southwest". In the past the band was invited to play by Gov Bill Richardson at his election night celebration; Mina's recent appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show has helped introduce a new audience to a band that is as unique as the Land of Enchantment.
